Venture Era is a SCAM!? Part 2

Ok guys.

I just had a feedback from a friend who just quitted Venture Era. He hate the way they do recruiting. I agree, I don't like it either. I realize that I was also involved in doing such recruitting, and I don't really like it.

But nevertheless, the products are still good. I still have some of the products with me. For example the water solution. It neutralize acidity content in the body. Whenever I drink so much sweet stuffs and begin to feel feverish, I will drink the water solution and the feverish feeling is gone, sometimes in a few minutes.

Sucky was of recruitting I would say, but good product.

Venture Era is a scam?

Is Venture Era a scam? Are they bad? Why many people are negative about it? Are they not doing the right thing?

I am a former member(or ex-member) of the company, who's name wishes to be anonymous, and I just want to address some issues and comment neutrally on each of them. I will be neutral throughout. But first, I will tell you why I quit.

Firstly, I quit because I do not like to go appointments. I am naturally an IT person; I was in VE just to get some experience and VE is totally NOT my cup of tea. Sometimes I feel not right for asking support from relatives to buy the product BUT at the same time I want them to have it because it is really good for them. And besides than that, the reason why I quit is because I can't be committed - I have other interest and my time is tight. I prefer doing other stuffs. :)

So now let's talk about the issues. I have heard some negative comments about Venture Era. Some of them are:

Psychoing (brainwashed)

Are we brainwashed? Nope. Hey look, I am still me. They try to show me that they are better than working 9-5 standard working time. But I never agree to them. We need these people who work from 9 to 5, am I correct? No doctor, we suffer. No programmer, no internet. No internet, no entertainment. Are they trying to psycho me? No la. They're are just asking me whether I want to do the same routine like those people, they might expect my answer to me 'NO'. They are just telling you that if you can avoid doing all that, would you want it or not? They didn't say VE life is no need to work and still earn money. But in the long run, there is a potential to be like that la. It can la. At the same time, such things can also be achieved online.

Why not sold in shops?

Ok, if their products are so good why don't they put at the retail shop? Hmm..this makes me wonder why Avon don't have a shop either or more like I don't see it anywhere. I don't know. But you can see it is similar in the way they run their business.

But they do have a reason why not through shops. In layman terms, it is because they do not want the price of the product to be markup so much that by the time it reaches to the consumer it will cost a lot.

Overpricing product

Follow by that, let's talk about over-pricing. Again, being neutral, I am not sure if they are really over pricing it.

But I know that the Cal Ion Water is fair. Look at Evian water, costing about $2, and compare to the Cal Water venture era have. Cal Ion Water definitely have more benefits but if you think about it, they cost almost the same price (Cal Ion is cheaper actually)

So Cal Ion Water is underpriced or overpriced? None, it just that they do direct selling to consumer so that it is cheaper to consumer and the distributor has more profit.

Do you realize that some products in Sheng Shiong is more expensive than NTUC? Sheng Shiong is famous for cheap/affordable goods but at the same time not all the products are cheaper than NTUC. So why am I telling you this?

When it comes to magnetic therapy products. I have no idea. It might be following the NTUC vs Sheng Shiong tactics.
..but if any of you can find a magnetic therapy single bed size with the follow properties:
  • a strength of 3,950 or more magnetic gauss rate
  • surface gauss rate of 1000
  • 50 cm penetration length
  • 20 years of warranty
  • ionic chip integrated (cant rmb what it's call)
  • anti-dust
  • anti-mite
  • anti-odour
  • 250 FERRITE Magnets
  • made up of comfortable layers
  • far infra-red
  • bio-north
  • made up of ferrite magnet
  • Durable - hard to damage
... and price lesser than $1.9k, do tell me. I might consider buying. I am not trying to challenge you, I am serious.

UnEthical Manner

Is it unethical? Is it unethical to sell to your family and relatives? No. It just feel not right. No one want to suck up their relative/family money, except for some gamblers la. People begin to think that it is unethical because of the price, and thought that it is a pyramid scheme. Some who don't even bother to find out, thought that you need to pay for the membership. There is NO membership in VE. Never join MLM that ask you to pay for membership. It's abviously a scam.

One thing for sure is that the company really have no control over the managers. My manager taught me something I find unehthical and I told him directly, "That is unethical and I don't want to do that" and he tried to tell me his point of view and I still say no. But what he taught me is not selling unethically, it's about smth else. So don't worry, the way he carry out sales is ethical.

The good thing is that most managers follow the ethical way but only some do the unethical way. Why I say this? Because my managers upline never tell me to do such a thing.

Besides, I read one of the noticeboard and saw the term to agree not to promote( or what) the products unethically.

Sucking Family and Relative money

This is the funniest issue. The reason why the company have 2 trainings is because they want to make sure you like the product. First one, make sure you see the product works. So that you are confident that it works and can help people.

Then there's 2 side of the story.

1) From public/anti-ve point of view - They are trying to suck their parents/relatives money only so they can make money. Getting rich from their relatives money...naive teens. They should wake up!

2) From the seller view - I have seen the product working and want my family members and relatives to be in a better health because I know some are prone to illness.

Usually, the 2nd point of view will be counter with "you are psychoed!" and "the prioducts are overpriced!"

Lol. I have no comments on the overpricing like I stated on the overpricing point. But psychoed, hmm...nope.

The product is like a doctor. You first go visit doctor when you are sick. After you visit the doctor, few days later you feel better. So if you have some family members or relatives who are sick, wouldn't you recommend them to go see the same doctor? Think about it. Logical right? It's the same as the product lor.

For people who thought can get rich fast?

Some people think that those who join VE has the mentally of getting rich fast. Well, I am not sure about the rest but definitely I was there because I want to build up my character. I am usually very low confident and very quiet. Whenever they talk about money, I switch off. I tell them "Don't talk about money to me". But now, although I've already break from them, I am still able to speak better. To be really honest, I use to read and record my voice and I don't even know what I was reading. But after VE, I can understand my own reading better. lol, but i sometimes still have the old habit of reading nonsense la.

If you are not interested in the job, at least learn some character building before you leave. Maybe just get through the trainings and leave

Some are already rich but still join. lol

Besides, if you want to get rich fast, there are many ways for you to do that.

The thing that makes me wonder:

Most of the managers I know, all have family and relatives who runs a business. They are already rich and they still work in VE. Of course, their motive is to achieve certain level of achievement. But it makes me feel that rich background people has better chance of succeeding in VE. I think most of our family don't own a business right? I don't know. But I do know some of them who came from poor family and still succeed, it's harder to achieve such a level but it's not impossible to succeed either.

Conclusion....you conclude. I can only help you conclude that NOT ALL MLM are scam. Look at this list of MLM companies. I'm sure you've heard some of them.
